Our Story
Our origins
OpenElectric is an initiative established by a handful of experienced technologists who have been pioneers of the Distributed Energy sector and energy startup community in Australia. As ex-founders of GreenSync, Reposit Power and the Australian National University, the collective is now involved involved with over 30 utilities and technology providers across Australia.
OpenElectric was initiated as a Climate Tech Assembly project.

The Climate Tech Assembly is a venture studio that founds, funds and advises early stage companies that are focused on intersections of 100% renewables and electrification, AI and cybersecurity.
